Hello! Today I will be reviewing ACONCEPT's Chewing Two Tone Tint Lip Balm in #12 Orange Flavour, which was sent to me by Jolse. For those who don't know, Jolse is a popular Korean cosmetics website, and I've been buying from them for nearly 5 years! They also give out a lot of samples, so I highly recommend them~
Note: Even though the items in this review were sponsored, all opinions are my own.

About this product
The Two Tone Lip Balm expresses the lips with vitality and moisture.
Express natural and attractive gradation lips quickly and easily.
The moist texture forms a moisturizing film on the dry lips.

Colour options
#11 Pink Flavour
#12 Orange Flavour
#13 Red Flavour

There is 3g of product.
The cardboard packaging is a bold orange, with ACONCEPT written in holographic writing. On the back, there's product information in Korean.
The lipstick packaging looks alright. I'm not a big fan of the white writing at the bottom, and I think making the tube white isn't the best idea because it can get dirty easily.
The product reminds me of Etude House's Balm Colour Tint that came out a few years ago. I really like how the colours come together to a sharp edge instead of a blunt point like Etude House's. The diagonal shape makes it really easy to apply the colour without having them blending into each other.
This is the natural colour of my lips.
This is how the balm looks applied. The colour's very subtle because I only applied a couple of layers. It turns more of a fuchsia pink after more layers. It applied smoothly and left my lips feeling slightly sticky.

And here is a gradient lip I created with both sides of the product. The orange is a lot brighter than I thought, it's almost neon so do keep that in mind. I found it easy to blend, and only a little product's needed for the colour to show.
Like typical two tone lip products, the balm side is a natural baby pink. Both of the sides applied easily, and left a slight stain. There was also a slight stain left on my lips after wiping off the product.

The lip tint applied nicely and did not dry out my lips. The gloss did not last throughout the day and the colour transferred a lot. Touching up the colour stained the balm side, meaning you might not get a precise application next time due to the orange colour being transferred onto the balm. The product felt rather heavy and a bit sticky.

There is a peach candy scent, which I can faintly smell and taste when I inhale through my mouth. This is something to keep in mind if you don't like scented products. I wish the balm was a peach/coral instead of the usual magenta pink, I think it would have suited the orange tint better.

  • Not drying
  • Does not sink into lip lines
  • Smells nice
  • Easy application
  • Pigmented
  • Strong scent
  • Transfers
  • Feels heavy/sticky
  • Limited colours
  • Packaging can get dirty easily
I rate this product 2.5/5. I'm not a huge fan, but if you like these two tone lip products and bright lip makeup, you can try it out.
